Role: e-Commerce Sales Development Executive
Type: Full Time
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 p.a.
Location: vGroup, 1-7 Erica Road, Stacey Bushes, Milton Keynes, MK12 6HS

Responsible to the General Sales Manager, you will focus on developing our e-Commerce sites to drive our online sales. You’ll set and achieve sales targets, provide excellent customer service while handling queries via phone, email and live chat, ensure our content is maximised for SEO purposes and ensure CRM is up to date. You’ll be based in our Head Office which is located at the above address, you’ll work Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm, and Friday 8.30am-4pm with the potential to work hybrid once probation is complete.

You are required to have experience in customer service, eCommerce, website marketing, SEO, PPC, project management and bolt-on E-commerce software. You should be able to work under pressure and achieve set KPIs. You must be IT literate, experienced with Microsoft Office and business administration.

Ideally, you’ll be a great communicator, a team player with a willingness to get involved in other areas of the business, passionate about customer experience, analytical and up-to date on eCommerce trends.

 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • To attend meetings with management when needed.
    • Ensures that all processes and quality standards are always met.
    • Actively grow and promote all products and product listings, ensuring product selection, information, and pricing are accurate and up to date.
    • Liaise with production to ensure stock is being delivered to the customer’s specification and on time and if required update the customer.
    • Sourcing and benchmarking new and existing product lines with our supplier network.
    • Project management, to plan, initiate and execute e-commerce projects to reach platform objectives.
    • Monitor performance of e-commerce platforms on a regular basis, reporting on key metrics.
    • Review and forecast stock levels to ensure stock levels are maintained.
    • Create and design all artwork for banners and be responsible for uploading to the sites.
    • Maintain the sites and keep regularly refreshed with new products, best sellers and special offers. Maintain feeds to the social networking sites.
    • To ensure CRM is up to date and all complaints are logged and managed through to root cause resolution.
    • Maximise and constantly seek improvement to SEO, picture and PPC campaigns to improve rankings.
    • To ensure photography and images are maximised for SEO purposes.
    • To propose plans to achieving targets.
    • Staying up to date with the current Ecommerce trends and technologies.
    • Perform and report on Market Research for benchmarking, new product introductions.
    • Managing projects for current and new internal websites across the business.
    • Ensuring that Retail pricing and margins are within company guidelines.To provide an excellent customer experience, handling customer queries via phone, email and live chat.
    • Focus on setting and achieving sales targets.
    • To troubleshoot any issues.
    • To improve systems and processes

 

 

MANAGEMENT & TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in development and promote the culture of continuous improvement, thereby recommending and implementing authorised changes.
  • Eliminate all manual tasks with IT solutions.
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
  • Maintain good housekeeping of the department including the equipment within it.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy office environment.
  • Ensure high standards of conduct, appearance and behavior are met at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with all team members, colleagues and management team.
  • Participate in the company stock takes when necessary.

In addition to the above duties and responsibilities, the jobholder is required to perform any other duty requested by Management from time to time
